Vented Hood for ND Miata MX-5

This hood replaces the OEM aluminium hood on all Mazda Miata ND. Made with high quality carbon fiber, the CFRP (carbon fiber outer layer with fiberglass structure) hood weighs around 9 KG (19.5 Pounds) which is around the same weight as the OEM one. The structure is made with fiberglass for maximum strength. The vents are in the perfect location to extract the hot air from the engine bay.

Rain guards are included with each piece and completely close the 2 sides of vents. Water WON’T come in with them fitted. We drove the ND under the rain without the guard and it was totally fine…

The hood is also available in fiberglass (white gel coat) material and carbon kevlar material(yellow carbon fiber).

Specs: 3K weaving. CF + UV resistant varnish, gloss clear coat paint (made using vacuum bag process)

Easy to install: perfect fitment using factory mounts. You can reuse the 4 OEM screws and the front latch.
