Miata Differential Brace Kit for NA & NB/NBFL – Reinforced Performance

Enhance your Miata’s performance and durability with our Premium Miata Differential Brace Kit. This kit is specially designed for large casing differentials in:

• Mazda MX-5 NBFL
• Mazda MX-5 NB
• Mazda MX-5 NA (post-1993 models)

For Miatas produced from 1994–2005, the differential housing has a known weak spot that can fail during rear-end impacts or in high-power applications. Our differential brace kit offers a robust bolt-on solution, eliminating the need for welding. However, for high-power setups, welding the brace provides extra strength and durability.

Crafted from 8-mm-thick aluminum, this brace kit fits snugly within the casting cavity, significantly boosting the differential arm’s strength. Installation requires removing the differential from the car.

For the bolt-in option, drill four holes into the differential and reinstall it. For the weld-in option, detach the rear aluminum case, weld it using a 5356 filler rod (AlMg5), and reassemble.
